Being the Founding President of a youth Organization ‘Evolution360’, Anika Subah Ahmad Upoma is working to implement SDG 5 (gender equality) in Bangladesh, with UN Women.
She has previously worked with UNV as an online volunteer & got selected as a Global Champion of UN Women in 2016
For contribution in women empowerment & Youth development, she got awarded as one of the “10 Brave women in Bangladesh” from WEAB by the US Ambassador in 2016
She served the Government by working as a Delegation Liaision Officer at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bangladesh.
Upoma is also a faculty of IELTS & Spoken English in ‘Saifurs Private Limited’ & conducted a number of corporate trainings on Presentation skills & public speaking. She was also a Phonetics & English trainer of the honourable Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
She received more than 20 awards in different national & international conferences representing Bangladesh.
She is a mentor at the Department of English, University of Dhaka, and completing her graduation.
She is the Chairperson of an India-based organization “She Endeavors” creating a web platform to empower women in Bangladesh.
Upoma is the Country Representative of a South African organization ‘Global institute for Women Empowerment” since 2016
Public Events: Successfully conducted 3 workshops being a key-note speaker on “Women Empowerment in Bangladesh and its Future” connecting the young generation in University of Dhaka.
Conducted a workshop on MUN as a Key-note Speaker at Stamford University Bangladesh, Dhanmondi Campus.
Conducted two seminars of the Corporate officials in Bangladesh Bank on “Basic English Phonetics” on January, 2017
Conducted career counseling and skill development seminar as a speaker on “Life hacks of Presentation”.Working as a Special Emissary at a Nigerian organization “She Leaps”
